INTRODUCTION :
The function of Zinc Hydroxide in Rubber Process is to accelerate the vulcanization as an activator.
In the view of chemical mechanism of activator in cure system, the chemical reaction of
Zinc Hydroxide is divided in to two different stages rising simultaneously.
Firstly creates Zinc salt through its chemical reaction
with fatty acid and then by letting that Zinc salt act on the
accelerator.
Accelerate the activation of Sulphur. As in Rubber process, the reaction of Zinc Hydroxide
is achieved on the surface of solid particles, the surface area is more important than the quantity
of Zinc Hydroxide used. Useful for Cycle Tubes, Trolley Tyre, Car Mats, Micro Sheets,
Hawai Sheets, Automotive Parts and other extruded Rubber articles. |
